The famous "Corn Planting Rock" William A and Jasper both used this rock to plant corn. A chain was ran through the hole in the middle. after the ground was worked up, the rock was drug with tis side up. The other side sticks out. A furrow just the right depth was dug out. After the corn was planted, they flipped the rock over and drug it over the corn. This would mound up the dirt just right.
